Plant Based Banana Chocolate Spelt Waffles

  • Waffle Maker


  • 1 3/4 cups Spelt Flour
  • 1 tbsp Ground Flax
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 1/4 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 2 heaping tbsp Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vanilla


  • Easiest Recipe Ever!
    Place all ingredients in a high speed blender such as a Vitamix or any blender will do. Even an immersion blender. Blend ingredients on high for 1 minute or until all ingredients are combine. Let you batter sit for about 10 minutes so that the spelt flour has time to absorb some of the liquid. Preheat your waffle maker. After pouring some of your batter into your waffle maker top with Enjoy Life Chocolate Chunks! When your waffles are done the top of your waffle maker should open easily. If it does not then your waffles need more time to cook.
    Top your waffles with extra chocolate, male syrup, walnuts or whatever you fancy! Enjoy!
